The Claims Process for the First Nations Drinking Water Settlement opened on March 7, 2022.

The nation-wide Canada Post strike ended on December 17, 2024. It is expected to take time for Canada Post to process its backlog of mail.

Additional First Nations communities included in the Settlement  July 19, 2024 Some First Nation Reserves have been added to the Settlement and eligible individuals from these communities have a limited extension to the deadline for submitting claims.
